Learning Outcomes
Upon completing this workshop, participants will:
- understand the function of agent, subject and classification records in the ArchivesSpace application
- be able to create agent and subject records in ArchivesSpace
- be able to edit agent and subject records in ArchivesSpace
- be able to merge agent records in ArchivesSpace
- be able to link agent and subject records to other record types in ArchivesSpace
- be able to create classifications in ArchivesSpace
- be able to link records to classifications in ArchivesSpace
Prerequisites
This workshop presumes that participants have taken the ArchivesSpace Basics workshop or have practical experience with ArchivesSpace sufficient to create records with minimal guidance. It also assumes that all participants have solid knowledge of basic archival descriptive standards and workflows.
