The Digital Collections team at the San Diego State University Library is involved in several cross-border projects with archives and libraries in Mexico including the Archivo Historico de Tijuana and the Biblioteca de Investigación Juan de Córdoba in Oaxaca. In this session we will share our experiences with international projects. We will describe the interesting and important collections they hold including images, documents, oral histories, and written works in indigenous languages. We’ll note the pitfalls and drawbacks, but also the benefits and highlights of international collaborations.
